Quinton Insurance was founded in 1996 by its current President D. Gordon Quinton.
Gordon, originally born in Toronto Canada moved to Rochester NY after attending college on a tennis scholarship and married his wife Marie Casciano originally from Rochester NY.
“I remember my first day like it was yesterday. I had this tiny office and these huge filing cabinets and I remember asking myself, “How am I ever going to find enough clients to fill these things?” When I started there was no internet, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. There was just the old-fashioned phone book. I would wake up every morning, open the phone book and start calling business owners for eight hours a day asking them if I could save them money on their business insurance. At night, I would go home and have dinner with my family and then I would start again, this time calling homeowners to ask them if I could quote their car and home insurance. People ask me all the time, “How did you discipline yourself to make all those calls every day?” It was very simple; I had a family to support.”
In 15 years Quinton Insurance had seen tremendous growth and continues to grow by double digits every year.
In 2013, Gordon reached out to his long-time friend and real estate business partner, Joe Alloco to help him take the agency to the next level. With Gordon & Joe at the helm of Quinton Insurance they have tripled the size of the agency in only 6 years. Their goal is to make Quinton Insurance into one of the largest insurance brokerages in the United States
